Parastoo
Parastoo is a Yoga Teacher, Bodyworker, and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Facilitator devoted to guiding people back to themselves through movement, presence, and embodied transformation.
She has taught yoga in seven countries, supported more than 100 clients through healing touch and embodiment practices, and held space for over 50 transformational plant medicine journeys in therapeutic and ceremonial settings. Her work weaves together somatics, breathwork, nervous system regulation, and embodiment.
Born and raised in Iran before moving to Canada, Parastoo spent her twenties building a successful career as an engineer. Yet despite achieving everything she thought she was meant to pursue, something within her knew there was another path.
In her thirties, she made the courageous decision to leave behind the life she had spent years creating and begin again from scratch. With nothing but a backpack, an open heart, and a deep trust in her intuition, she set off on a solo journey across South and Central America in search of wisdom, healing, and a more authentic way of living.
Today, her work is rooted not only in years of training, but in the life she has courageously lived. She creates spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies, and find the courage to live in alignment with their deepest truth.
People often tell her they feel at home in her presence. Her work is not to heal or fix anyone, but to gently remind them of who they have always been.
Sahel
She is a woman who refused to let her pain become her prison and chose instead to let it become her path.
Born in Iran and transplanted to Canada at seventeen, she navigated new worlds and eventually a diagnosis of depression that could have defined her. It didn't. It cracked her open and what poured through was a life far larger than the one she had been handed.
Through yoga, dance, and breathwork she has guided people back to their wildness and aliveness across the world holding retreats in the Amazon in Peru, Costa Rica, Canada, Qatar, and Guatemala. For the past 3 years she has called Lake Atitlán, Guatemala her full-time home, living and facilitating on the shores of one of the most sacred lakes on earth.
Today she is completing a Master's in Psychology bridging somatic wisdom with the science of the mind. She doesn't teach techniques. She tears open windows.
Is This For You?
This retreat is for those who sense there is more available to them than the life they are currently living.
It is for the seekers, the dreamers, the creators, the healers, and anyone standing at a crossroads, longing for greater meaning, authentic connection, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Whether you are navigating a life transition, seeking clarity on your next chapter, longing to reconnect with your body, or simply feeling called to step away from the noise of everyday life, this retreat offers a space to pause, listen, and remember what truly matters.
No prior experience with yoga, dance, or spiritual practices is required. Only an open heart and a willingness to explore.
You know there is more within you waiting to be expressed.
Yet fear, self-doubt, burnout, or the demands of everyday life may have left you feeling disconnected from yourself, your purpose, and what truly lights you up.
You long for clarity. For authentic connection. For a life that feels aligned with your heart rather than driven by expectations.
Many of us have learned how to survive, achieve, and perform. Far fewer of us have learned how to truly listen to our hearts.
If these words resonate with you, consider this your invitation.
This retreat is not about escaping your life. It is about returning to it with greater clarity, courage, and connection.
Through yoga, movement, dance, community, nature, and deep self-inquiry, you will reconnect with your inner compass and remember what it feels like to live in alignment with yourself.
You will leave feeling more grounded in who you are, clearer about what truly matters, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward the life you desire.
Surrounded by the magic of Lake Atitlán, supported by a like-minded community, and guided through a transformative journey of embodiment and self-discovery, this retreat becomes more than a getaway. It becomes an initiation.
